About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations for our growing pet supplement brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory planning, stock accuracy, inbound and outbound logistics, team management, order fulfillment, dispatch operations, MIS reporting, and warehouse process optimization.

The role requires strong leadership skills, operational excellence, and hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

• Ensure accurate inventory records across all SKUs.

• Plan and maintain optimum stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.

• Monitor inventory aging, slow-moving stock, and expiry management.

• Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock audits.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.

Inbound Operations

• Manage receipt of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

• Verify quantity, batch numbers, quality, and documentation during GRN creation.

• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams for smooth stock inwarding.

• Ensure proper storage and bin allocation.

Order Fulfillment & Outbound Operations

• Oversee order processing from receipt to dispatch.

• Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and shipment preparation.

• Monitor order SLAs and fulfillment accuracy.

• Coordinate with courier partners and transport vendors.

• Ensure timely dispatch of all B2B, B2C, marketplace, and distributor orders.

Packaging & Dispatch Management

• Supervise packaging operations to maintain brand and quality standards.

• Optimize packaging material usage and costs.

• Ensure dispatch documentation is accurate and complete.

• Monitor shipment tracking and delivery performance.

Last-Mile Logistics Coordination

• Liaise with logistics partners for smooth deliveries.

• Monitor shipment exceptions, delays, RTOs, and delivery performance.

• Resolve customer and channel partner logistics issues.

• Improve delivery turnaround times and customer satisfaction.

Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Manage and maintain all warehouse transactions through WMS.

• Ensure real-time stock movement updates.

• Generate inventory, order, and operational reports.

• Drive process automation and warehouse digitization initiatives.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

• Track key warehouse KPIs including:

  • Inventory Accuracy

  • Order Fulfillment Rate

  • Dispatch TAT

  • Picking & Packing Accuracy

  • Stock Aging

  • Damage & Shrinkage

  • Warehouse Productivity

• Present operational insights and improvement plans to management.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise warehouse executives, supervisors, pickers, packers, and dispatch staff.

• Create workforce schedules and manpower plans.

• Conduct training programs on SOPs, safety, and operational excellence.

• Monitor team productivity and performance.

• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Develop and implement warehouse SOPs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Maintain warehouse hygiene and operational efficiency.

• Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.

• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

• Experience in FMCG, Nutraceuticals, Pet Food, Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or E-commerce industries preferred.

• Hands-on experience with WMS, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
