We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, dispatches, and team supervision. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in machinery, engineering goods, or packaging-related warehousing with a deep understanding of safety protocols, logistics, and stock management.
Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
Ensure proper handling of machinery parts, spare components, and packaging materials.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout to improve space utilization and workflow.
Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Maintain inventory records in ERP/software
Oversee GRN, stock in/out, challans, and dispatch documentation.
Plan and schedule dispatches to ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with transporters, logistics vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and safe loading/unloading of goods.
Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Conduct training for material handlers, forklift operators, and helpers.
Ensure discipline, adherence to SOPs, and productivity.
Implement and enforce safety protocols for handling heavy machinery, tools, and packaging materials.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and statutory requirements.
Take corrective actions for any operational deviations or safety risks.
Align with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Service teams for smooth material flow.
Update relevant teams on dispatch status, stock availability, and delays (if any).
Strong knowledge of warehousing operations for machinery, engineering goods, or packaging products.
Familiarity with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet truck, etc.).
Proficiency in ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
Excellent team management and communication skills.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in warehouse management (preferably in the machinery/packaging industry).
Experience handling heavy machinery parts, finished goods, and packaging materials.
