The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing space utilization, managing staff, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring timely delivery performance to support the company’s operational and customer service goals.
Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts, workflows, and inventory management processes.
Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/WMS systems.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply to meet demand.
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance and safety targets.
Plan and assign tasks, monitor productivity, and evaluate performance.
Manage shift schedules and labor allocation.
Enforce health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and environmental regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Implement best practices in warehouse automation, lean operations, and 5S principles.
Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipments, space utilization, and productivity.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
Data-driven decision-making and analytical thinking.
Knowledge of safety standards, logistics, and supply chain processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
Experience with automation, barcode/RFID systems, or lean warehousing is a plus.
