Job Title: Warehouse Incharge

Reports To: Operations Manager / Plant Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Incharge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management of paints, chemicals, packaging materials, and finished goods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished paint products.

• Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and stacking of paints and chemical products as per safety guidelines.

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records in ERP/WMS systems.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation.

• Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize product expiry and wastage.

• Coordinate with production, procurement, transporters, and sales teams for timely dispatches.

• Prepare dispatch documentation, delivery challans, GRNs, and inventory reports.

• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to handling hazardous and flammable materials.

• Maintain housekeeping standards and optimize warehouse space utilization.

• Track damaged, expired, or slow-moving inventory and initiate corrective actions.

• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy and prevent losses.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.

Required Skills

• ERP/WMS proficiency and advanced MS Excel skills
