The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and coordination with logistics and transport teams. The role ensures accurate stock handling, timely dispatch, safety compliance, and efficient utilization of warehouse resources.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records (physical and system)
Coordinate with transporters and logistics team for timely dispatch and deliveries
Monitor loading and unloading operations
Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO practices
Manage warehouse staff, helpers, and labor
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and discipline inside the warehouse
Handle stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations
Report shortage, damage, or discrepancies immediately
Coordinate with accounts, procurement, and operations teams
