Job Responsibilities
Receive incoming packets/parcels from different sources and hubs.
Scan all packets using the company’s scanning system/app and ensure accurate system updates.
Sort packets according to destination, hub, route, and shipment type.
Perform bagging and packet consolidation as per the assigned hub/route.
Ensure the correct packets are placed in the correct bags.
Bag sealing, labeling, and tagging as per operational guidelines.
Prepare packets and bags for outbound dispatch to the respective hubs.
Handover sealed bags/packets to the assigned logistics partner or hub team.
Verify shipment counts before dispatch and ensure there is no mismatch.
Handle missing, damaged, excess, or wrongly routed packets and report the issue to the supervisor.
Maintain proper records of inbound and outbound shipments.
Follow all VALMO logistics SOPs, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the mother hub/warehouse area.
Coordinate with supervisors, delivery partners, and other hub teams for smooth operations.
Complete daily scanning, sorting, bagging, and dispatch activities within the assigned timeline.
