The Car Parking Manager will oversee the daily operations of the parking facility, ensuring smooth customer experience, maximum space utilization, efficient traffic flow, and overall safety & compliance within the premises.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day parking operations including entry/exit control and traffic movement within the facility
• Supervise parking staff, allocate duties, conduct scheduling, and ensure performance standards
• Oversee customer service, handle escalations, and resolve parking-related issues promptly
• Maintain proper documentation of parking fees, permits, cash handling, and automated systems reports
• Monitor security, CCTV surveillance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations
• Optimize parking space utilization and implement efficient flow strategies
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of parking infrastructure including signage, barriers, lights, etc.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams for system repairs and upgrades
• Prepare periodic operational reports, revenue summaries, and incident logs
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in parking/facility management roles
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of parking management systems, ticketing, and automation equipment
• Basic financial and cash-handling understanding
• Ability to handle stressful situations and manage large vehicle flows
• Good understanding of safety, security, and emergency procedures
Preferred Skills
• Experience working in malls, airports, hospitals, or large commercial parking facilities
• Ability to train and motivate staff
• Working knowledge of MS Office for reporting and documentation
