Job Description – Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Manager

Industry: Manufacturing (Nuts, Bolts, Screws & Fasteners)
Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Manage quality control and assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process.

• Prepare, maintain, and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.

• Handle ISO 9001 documentation, audits, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and non-conformance reports.

• Ensure product quality as per customer specifications, engineering drawings, and industry standards.

• Monitor incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections.

• Coordinate with production, purchase, and customer teams to resolve quality-related issues.

• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

• Maintain documentation for internal audits, external audits, and customer audits.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5–8 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing industry, preferably fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws).

• Strong expertise in quality documentation, ISO 9001, audits, CAPA, and quality management systems.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
