Job Description: Junior Quality Control Executive

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Quality Control Executive to support the QA/QC department in maintaining product quality within our cold storage facility. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of post-harvest handling, temperature-controlled storage, and hygiene standards. Training and guidance will be provided by senior QA/QC staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Quality Monitoring:

• Assist in monitoring the condition of incoming and stored products.

• Report any signs of spoilage, damage, or quality deviation to the QC Manager.

2. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily QC checklists, temperature logs, and stock-quality reports.

• Support in preparing QC-related documents as per company standards.

3. Temperature & Storage Checks:

• Conduct routine temperature checks for different storage chambers.

• Ensure products are stored as per required temperature guidelines.

4. Hygiene & Safety Compliance:

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all storage areas.

• Ensure adherence to basic food safety practices and SOPs.

5. Support in HACCP & Audit Activities:

• Help the senior QC team in following HACCP guidelines.

• Participate in internal audits and assist in corrective actions.

6. Coordination with Operations Team:

• Coordinate with store supervisors and staff for proper stacking and handling of products.

• Assist in verifying labels, lot numbers, and product identification during loading/unloading.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of cold storage operations or post-harvest handling (preferred but not mandatory).

• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.

• Good observation, communication, and documentation skills.
