Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Coordination

Plan and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and finally to customers or distributors.

• Transportation Management

Oversee transportation (road, rail, sea, air), optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries.

• Warehouse Operations

Manage warehouse activities including storage, dispatch, inventory control, and layout optimization.

• Inventory Management

Maintain optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and avoid stockouts.

• Cost Optimization

Control logistics costs such as transportation, warehousing, and handling while improving efficiency.

• Vendor & 3PL Management

Coordinate with transporters and third-party logistics providers; negotiate contracts and monitor performance.

• Order Fulfillment

Ensure accurate and timely order processing, picking, packing, and delivery.

• Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and tax regulations (e.g., GST documentation, e-way bills in India).

• Data Analysis & Reporting

Track KPIs like delivery time, cost per shipment, and damage rates; use data to improve operations.

Key Skills Required

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Analytical and problem-solving ability

• Knowledge of logistics software (like SAP ERP or Oracle SCM Cloud)

• Negotiation and vendor management

• Communication and leadership skills

• Understanding of transportation and warehouse systems
