Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day logistics, dispatch, transportation, and warehouse operations.
• Plan and coordinate sales dispatches as per customer and business requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and timely movement of goods.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage and maintain POD (Proof of Delivery) records and follow up for pending PODs.
• Monitor transporter performance and resolve transportation-related issues.
• Monitor freight costs and maintain proper records of transportation expenses.
• Analyze freight expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
• Handle logistics-related claims, shortages, damages, losses, and delivery discrepancies.
• Verify transporter bills, freight invoices, and other logistics-related expenses.
• Coordinate with warehouse, sales, accounts, and other departments for smooth dispatch operations.
• Supervise loading, unloading, material movement, and warehouse-related activities.
• Ensure proper handling and safe transportation of products to minimize damage and loss.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, freight costs, PODs, claims, and expenses.
• Prepare regular logistics and dispatch reports.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of logistics documents and transportation expenses.
• Identify operational issues and take corrective action to improve logistics efficiency.
Requirements:
• Graduate / relevant qualification preferred.
• 2–3+ years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, Transportation, or Warehouse Operations.
• Practical experience in Sales Dispatch and Transporter Management.
• Good knowledge of POD Management, Freight Cost Control, Claims & Expense Management.
• Experience in warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple transporters and dispatches efficiently.
• Responsible, organized, and capable of handling logistics operations independently.
