Job Responsibilities – Diagnostic Route Manager

Route Planning & Optimization

• Plan and optimize daily routes for pickup staff to ensure maximum efficiency.

Sample Pickup Management

• Ensure timely pickup of home collection samples.

• Coordinate with clinics and partner labs for smooth sample collection.

Manpower Handling

• Manage phlebotomists, riders, and other field staff.

• Handle attendance tracking, shift allocation, and leave planning.

On-time Delivery & TAT

• Ensure samples reach the laboratory within defined timelines.

• Maintain and improve TAT (Turn Around Time).

Issue Handling (Ground Operations)

• Resolve operational issues such as route delays, staff absenteeism, and vehicle breakdowns.

• Manage urgent and emergency sample pickups.

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SOPs for sample handling.

• Monitor cold chain maintenance and proper packaging standards.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate with call center, lab teams, sales, and operations departments.

• Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare daily pickup and route reports.

• Analyze route performance, delays, and operational costs.

Cost Control

• Monitor fuel and transportation expenses.

• Improve route efficiency to reduce operational costs.

Process Improvement

• Design and implement new routes as required.

Continuously improve productivity and service levels.
