JOB DESCRIPTION – LABOUR MANAGER
Position: Labour Manager – Packing & Dispatch
Department: Production / Packing
Industry: Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise labour involved in packing, labelling and dispatch activities.
- Ensure products are packed correctly as per production and packing requirements.
- Plan manpower according to daily production and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure all orders are packed and delivered/ready for dispatch on time.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Dispatch teams.
- Maintain discipline, attendance and productivity of workers.
- Check packing materials and ensure minimum wastage.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and GMP practices in the packing area.
- Report delays, shortages, damages or packing issues to management immediately.
- Maintain basic records of manpower, packing quantity and dispatch status.
Key Requirement:
Good manpower-handling skills, responsibility for timely completion of work, and preferably experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical packing operations.
Reporting To: Production/Factory Manager
