Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management Associate to oversee inventory accuracy, stock movement, and inventory-related documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams, and maintain accurate inventory records to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical stock verification.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate stock variances.
Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of inventory.
Ensure proper inward and outward stock entries in the ERP/Tally system.
Generate inventory reports including stock aging, slow-moving, and dead stock analysis.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel for proper storage and inventory handling.
Track inventory movement across multiple locations or warehouses.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed where applicable.
Assist in month-end and year-end inventory closing activities.
Maintain documentation related to purchase receipts, stock transfers, and dispatches.
Work closely with sales, accounts, and operations teams for inventory planning.
Suggest process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
