Inventory Manager Job Description
Core Responsibility: Monitor, control, and optimize stock levels (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods) to meet business goals.
Key Duties:
Tracking & Reporting: Use software to accurately count, record, and report on inventory levels.
Procurement: Order new supplies, manage purchase orders, and source cost-effective suppliers.
Warehouse Operations: Oversee storage, handling, and movement of goods.
Forecasting: Analyze sales data to predict future needs and prevent stockouts or overstock.
Team & Supplier Management: Train staff, manage schedules, and build strong supplier relationships.
