Department: Factory Operations / Stores & Inventory
Location: Factory Based | Experience: 2–5 Years
Responsible for managing factory inventory, inward supplies, stock records, and shrinkage control for a Porta Cabin & Container manufacturing unit. Requires strong coordination with production, purchase, and logistics teams with accurate data handling.
Maintain stock of steel sheets, panels, frames, insulation, electrical items, hardware & consumables.
Monitor inward/outward material movement and ensure proper bin location & labeling.
Verify incoming supplies with PO & challans; prepare GRN and update records.
Maintain vendor delivery logs and coordinate shortages/damage with purchase team.
Update daily inventory in Excel/ERP; maintain stock ledger, issue slips & dispatch records.
Prepare daily consumption, weekly & monthly stock reports.
Conduct physical stock audits, control wastage, scrap & shrinkage.
Coordinate with production, store, and logistics for timely material issuance.
Maintain organized yard/store for efficient operations.
Strong MS Excel & inventory system knowledge.
Experience in fabrication, steel, manufacturing or container industry preferred.
Detail-oriented, trustworthy, disciplined & accountable.
Able to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Diploma/Graduate.
Factory inventory or warehouse experience.
Basic understanding of steel/fabrication materials.
