JOB ROLE: Import/Export Documentation Specialist

 Prepare and verify all documentation required for international shipments (e.g., invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).  Ensure accuracy of shipping and customs documents to avoid delays or fines.  Maintain a filing system for all import/export documentation.  Communicate with international suppliers, customers, and customs authorities.  Monitor changes in international trade regulations and update procedures accordingly. Logistics Coordinator  Manage the transportation of goods from origin to destination.  Ensure that shipping documents, such as bills of lading and air waybills, are correctly prepared.  Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.  Ensure proper packing and labeling according to destination country regulations.  Track shipments and handle any shipping delays or issues. Compliance Officer  Ensure that all import/export activities comply with international trade laws and regulations.  Review contracts, documents, and transactions for compliance with local and international rules.  Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and regulations affecting imports/exports.  Conduct internal audits and inspections of import/export practices to ensure compliance. Sales and Marketing Team (Export/Import)  Coordinate with customers to ensure that required documentation is in place for export.  Provide support for negotiation of contracts, including terms related to international shipments and delivery.  Ensure that products are marketed in compliance with international standards and regulations.
