Job Title: Export–Import Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Export–Import Executive to manage international shipments, documentation, customs compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas clients. The role ensures smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods across borders while complying with all trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end export and import operations (air/sea/road).
Prepare and verify shipping documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, Insurance, LC documents, etc.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, HS codes, Incoterms, and trade regulations.
Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers.
Manage customs clearance and resolve delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and regulatory filings.
Liaise with banks for LC/DA/DP documentation and export incentives (if applicable).
Optimize logistics costs and timelines; support audits and inspections.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in export–import/logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of EXIM documentation, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
Familiarity with DGFT/ICEGATE/GST processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
