A Vehicle Tracking Specialist (or Tracking Officer) is primarily responsible for monitoring the movement, security, and efficiency of a fleet using GPS and telematics technology.

• Real-Time Monitoring: Track vehicle locations, speed, and direction using GPS software to ensure drivers stay on designated routes and adhere to schedules.

• Security & Recovery: Manage geofencing alerts (notifications when a vehicle enters or leaves a set area) and assist law enforcement in recovering stolen vehicles using real-time location data.

• Reporting & Analytics: Generate daily or monthly reports on fuel usage, trip history, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management review.
