Key Responsibilities & Performance Deliverables

1. Specialized Material Handling & Stacking

• Safely operate a specialized forklift equipped with hydraulic clamp attachments to transport, lift, rotate ($180^\circ / 360^\circ$), and position large paper rolls and raw materials.

• Vertically stack heavy reels and corrugated bundles in the warehouse up to designated heights, ensuring stacks are perfectly straight, stable, and structurally safe.

• Intelligently slide clamp pads into tight, narrow gaps between stored rolls without puncturing, tearing, or scraping the protective outer layers of neighboring stock.

• Transition paper rolls smoothly from a horizontal position (as received in transport trucks) to a vertical position for standard warehouse storage or corrugator machine feeding.

2. Hydraulic Pressure & Capacity Calibration

• Accurately adjust and monitor the forklift's hydraulic pressure gauge settings ($PSI$) according to the specific paper grade, core strength, and weight of the load.

• Prevent product damage by ensuring clamping force is tight enough to prevent slippage, yet gentle enough to avoid crushing, denting, or deforming the product.

• Fully understand the modified load center and reduced net lifting capacity caused by the heavy clamp attachment to prevent vehicle tipping.

3. Inbound/Outbound Logistics Support

• Safely maneuver forklifts inside shipping containers, flatbeds, and delivery trucks to load finished packaging goods or unload heavy raw materials.

• Ensure transport truck wheels are properly chocked and dock bridging plates are securely locked before driving the vehicle into a trailer.

• Organize and feed raw material stocks (correct GSM, size, and paper type) to the production line dynamically to prevent machine downtime.

4. Equipment Maintenance & Pre-Shift Inspections

• Perform mandatory pre-operational daily checks, including inspecting hydraulic hoses for leaks, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and testing the horn/backup alarms.

• Inspect the condition of the clamp pads frequently to ensure high-friction surfaces are clean, free of oil/grease, and free of embedded metal debris that could scratch raw materials.

• Document and report any mechanical anomalies, hydraulic pressure drops, or vehicle defects to the maintenance team immediately.

5. Plant Safety & Defensive Driving

• Maintain constant alertness on the plant floor, strictly adhering to factory speed limits and sounding the horn at all blind intersections, doorways, and corners.

• Respect all designated pedestrian walkways and keep loading bays clear of obstruction.

• Mandatorily wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toed boots, high-visibility vests, and industrial safety helmets.
