Job Description – Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location:Gummidipoondi

Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with valid forklift certification can also apply)

Qualification: 10th / 12th / ITI

Salary: As per company standards

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and stack materials.

• Transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area.

• Load and unload trucks efficiently.

• Ensure proper storage of materials in designated locations.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Follow all warehouse safety rules and operating procedures.

• Assist with inventory movement and stock handling.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the work area (5S).

• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for smooth material movement.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Valid forklift license/certification (preferred, if applicable).

• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Physically fit and safety conscious.
