Job Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials within the warehouse while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
2. Transport materials to designated storage and production areas.
3. Stack, arrange, and store materials properly to maximize warehouse space.
4. Perform pre-operational inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
5. Ensure accurate movement of materials as per warehouse documentation.
6. Assist in receiving, dispatch, and inventory handling activities.
7. Follow FIFO/FEFO practices during material handling.
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
9. Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately.
10. Support stock counting and inventory verification activities.
11. Adhere to company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
12. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
SSLC / PUC / Any Degree.
Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (preferred or mandatory as per company policy).
1–4 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
