We are looking for a Floor Manager to join our team at at Tamilnadu Thunikkadai. This role involves managing storage, distribution, inventory, and items in a warehouse. You will work as an important part of the supply chain department. The position offers ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the sales floor.
Monitor and guide sales staff to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Allocate staff to different sections based on customer flow and business needs.
Ensure customers receive excellent service and assistance.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally.
Ensure proper display, folding, tagging, and arrangement of garments and textiles.
Check stock availability and coordinate with the stock/store team for replenishment.
Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products.
Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and attractive at all times.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
Train new employees on products, customer service, billing procedures, and store policies.
Motivate the sales team and provide regular feedback on performance.
Coordinate with the billing/cash counter to ensure smooth customer movement.
Monitor product pricing, offers, discounts, and promotional displays.
Prevent product damage, misplacement, and stock losses on the sales floor.
Support stock verification and periodic inventory checks.
Prepare and report daily sales, staff performance, and floor-related issues to management.
Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, and management teams regarding stock requirements.
Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are followed.
Support promotional activities, festival sales, and special events.
Maintain a safe, disciplined, and customer-friendly shopping environment.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 5 - 6+ years of experience(Textile Exp Must). Strong organizational skills, time-management, and basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking are important for this role.
