Greet and assist patients and their attendants on admission.
Ensure timely allocation of beds and coordinate with admission and billing departments.
Monitor patient movements (admission, transfer, discharge, LAMA, etc.).
Address patient and attendant concerns promptly and escalate unresolved issues to senior management.
Ensure discharge summaries and bills are prepared on time to avoid patient delays.
Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, pharmacy, and diagnostic departments for patient requirements.
Ensure all patient services (diet, cleaning, linen, and diagnostics) are delivered as per hospital standards.
Liaise with doctors and nurses to facilitate smooth communication and task execution.
Maintain records of daily admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Track and report patient feedback, complaints, and resolution status.
Assist in documentation during audits and inspections.
Ensure all hospital policies, SOPs, and safety protocols are followed on the floor.
Monitor infection control measures and cleanliness of patient areas.
Support quality initiatives such as NABH/NABL compliance.
Supervise support staff on the floor (housekeeping, ward boys, etc.).
Check stock of patient-care consumables and coordinate with the store department for replenishment.
Prepare daily floor activity reports and submit them to the operations team.Staff
