About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized Fleet Manager to join our operations team at MBT Pune.

Role Objective: To oversee our Full Truckload (FTL) operations, ensuring that every vehicle is dispatched efficiently, safely, and on time while maintaining seamless communication with the broader supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities

• FTL Management: Oversee and manage daily Full Truckload (FTL) load assignments and dispatch operations.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the supply chain team to align fleet availability with loading and delivery schedules.

• Dispatch & Routing: Ensure all vehicles are dispatched efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

• System Monitoring: Track fleet movements using GPS and vehicle tracking software to ensure timely deliveries and driver safety.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any on-the-road logistical issues, delays, or routing challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong mix of experience, organizational capability, and logistical know-how.

• Experience: 1 to 6+ years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, or logistics.

• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to coordinate multiple moving parts with a strict attention to detail.

• Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict dispatch deadlines.

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience and proficiency with modern Vehicle Tracking Systems and fleet management software is highly preferred.

• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills to liaise with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
