Factory Supervisor – Interior Designing & Manufacturing

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Supervisor to manage and supervise day-to-day production activities at our interior designing manufacturing factory. The candidate should have practical knowledge of furniture making, welding, fibre/FRP and GRC manufacturing, along with the ability to manage workers and ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory production and manufacturing activities.

• Manage and allocate work to factory workers, fabricators, welders, carpenters and other staff.

• Ensure production work is completed according to design, drawings, measurements and quality standards.

• Have practical knowledge of furniture manufacturing and fabrication.

• Supervise welding and metal fabrication work.

• Have knowledge of FRP/Fibre and GRC manufacturing processes.

• Check the quality, finishing and measurements of manufactured products.

• Monitor raw materials, tools and equipment required for production.

• Coordinate with the design/interior team regarding drawings, specifications and production requirements.

• Ensure production targets and project deadlines are achieved on time.

• Identify and resolve production-related issues at the factory.

• Maintain discipline, productivity and safety standards among workers.

• Coordinate loading, unloading and dispatch of finished products when required.

• Maintain basic records of production, material usage and manpower.

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the factory and machinery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Factory Supervisor / Production Supervisor.

• Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication.

• Experience in furniture making and carpentry work.

• Good knowledge of welding and metal fabrication.

• Knowledge of FRP/Fibre and GRC manufacturing is required.

• Ability to manage and supervise a team of workers.

• Good understanding of measurements, materials and production processes.

• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

A hands-on candidate who understands factory production practically and can independently manage manpower, materials, manufacturing and quality for interior design projects.

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
