Roles and responsibility
Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules as per delivery commitments.
Prepare dispatch documents such as:
Preparation of E-way bill, delivery challan and coordination with accounts department for Invoice preparation.
Coordinate with transporters for vehicle arrangement and dispatch planning.
Ensure correct packing, labelling, and quantity verification before dispatch.
Monitor loading of materials and ensure safe handling practices.
Track dispatched shipments and update status to concerned departments/customers.
Maintain dispatch records and logs.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and statutory regulations.
assist in receiving, unloading, and verification of incoming materials.
Maintain stock records (manual/ERP) accurately.
Support inventory control activities including:
Stock counting / cycle count
Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials.
Follow FIFO / FEFO practices where applicable.
Issue materials to production as per requisition.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stores area.
