Job Description – Dispatch Executive
Position: Dispatch Executive
Department: Dispatch / Logistics
Location: Factory
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Dispatch Executive to manage the dispatch of finished goods, ensure accurate documentation, coordinate with transporters, and maintain dispatch records. The candidate should ensure timely and error-free delivery of materials to customers and dealers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as Invoice, Delivery Challan, Packing List, E-Way Bill, and LR/GR (where applicable).
Coordinate with the Production, Stores, Sales, and Logistics teams for timely dispatch.
Ensure correct quantity, model, and packaging of products before dispatch.
Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters for on-time delivery.
Maintain daily dispatch records and update dispatch reports.
Verify stock before dispatch and report any discrepancies.
Ensure proper loading of materials to avoid transit damage.
Track dispatched consignments and coordinate until delivery.
Follow company SOPs and safety procedures during dispatch operations.
Maintain proper filing of dispatch-related documents.
Required Skills
Knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations.
Basic knowledge of Invoice, Delivery Challan, E-Way Bill, and transport documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and ERP/Tally (preferred).
Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
Higher Secondary / Graduate (preferred).
Experience
1–3 years of experience in Dispatch, Logistics, Warehouse, or Stores.
Experience in a manufacturing company will be preferred.
Preferred Industry
Manufacturing, Electrical Appliances, FMCG, Consumer Durables, Engineering, or Logistics.
