Dispatch Executive

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Dispatch Executive to oversee the timely dispatch of goods and ensure smooth coordination between various departments involved in the logistics process. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to schedule and prioritize dispatch activities.

Prepare and verify shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders before dispatch, checking for quality and quantity of goods.

Communicate effectively with drivers and logistics partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.

Monitor transportation routes and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.

Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders, inventory levels, and transportation expenses.

Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to protect goods during transit and storage.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding dispatch and delivery issues, providing timely resolution and excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in dispatch operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of dispatch procedures, transportation regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in using dispatch software and MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in the Logistic sector.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations.

Knowledge of route optimization strategies and GPS navigation tools.

Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
