Job Summary:

The Warden is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel/residential facility. The role ensures discipline, safety, cleanliness, and a comfortable living environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily hostel/residential activities

• Ensure discipline and adherence to rules and regulations by residents

• Maintain attendance and records of residents

• Handle resident grievances and resolve issues promptly

• Ensure safety and security within the premises

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas

• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff

• Manage allocation of rooms and occupancy records

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation standards

• Monitor entry/exit of residents and visitors

• Handle emergencies and report incidents to higher management

• Maintain proper documentation and reports

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline

• Experience: 2–5 years in hostel management / facility management / administration preferred

• Experience in healthcare or institutional setup is an advantage

• Strong leadership and supervision skills

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities

• Problem-solving and conflict resolution

• Discipline-oriented and responsible attitude

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, record keeping)

Working Conditions:

• May require staying on premises (if applicable)

• Flexible working hours, including weekends/holidays if needed

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly

• High level of integrity and accountability

• Preference for candidates with prior warden/residential management experience
