
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Steward / Waiter to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests. The ideal candidate will ensure a pleasant dining experience by taking accurate orders, serving food and drinks efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and present menus
Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
Ensure guest satisfaction and respond to requests or complaints politely
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting
Handle bills and payments (if applicable)
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience as a waiter/steward is an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physically fit to stand for long hours and carry trays
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
