Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our hospitality team in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of food and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and escort them to their tables.

• Present menus and explain menu items, promotions, and specials.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

• Serve food and drinks according to company service standards.

• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.

• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints professionally.

• Prepare and set up dining areas before service.

• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.

• Process bills and handle payments accurately.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

• Follow all food safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, hotel, café, or resort.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Basic English communication skills (additional languages are an advantage).

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Mauritius.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

• Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
