Job Title: Steward / Team Member/Waiter

Location: The Irish House (Powai)

Department: Food & Beverage Service

Job Summary:

The Steward / Team Member is responsible for delivering excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting smooth restaurant operations. The role involves assisting guests, handling orders, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience in a lively pub environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Present menus, explain items, and take food & beverage orders

• Serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately

• Ensure tables are clean, set, and well-maintained at all times

• Assist in clearing tables and resetting for new guests

• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards as per company policy

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service

• Handle basic guest queries and escalate complaints when required

• Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 10th/12th pass (Hospitality background preferred)

• 0–2 years of experience in restaurants, pubs, or hotels

• Good communication skills (basic English preferred)

• Customer-focused attitude with a positive personality

• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Team player with a willingness to learn

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced, high-energy pub/restaurant environment

• Rotational shifts including evenings and late nights

Salary Range:

• ₹13,000 – ₹17,000 per month (depending on experience & location)

• Plus tips, incentives, and PF,ESIC benefits.
