The Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, and maintaining service standards of the hotel/restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a polite and professional manner
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Serve food and drinks as per hotel standards
Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-maintained
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service
Handle guest queries and complaints politely
Clear tables and reset for the next guest
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the service area
Upsell menu items when appropriate
Skills & Requirements
Good communication skills (basic English preferred)
Pleasing personality and customer-friendly attitude
Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
Team player with positive attitude
