Job Overview

The Steward will be responsible for managing daily F&B service operations, supervising the service team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and coordinating effectively with the kitchen team. The role also involves party/event coordination, inventory monitoring, staff supervision, and maintaining service and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant and F&B service operations.

• Coordinate smoothly between the service and kitchen teams.

• Ensure quality food service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

• Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.

• Allocate duties and supervise stewards and service staff during shifts.

• Coordinate with the kitchen for order flow and timely food service.

• Manage food service and coordination for parties, events, and group bookings.

• Ensure smooth execution of banquet, party, and event operations.

• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of required stock.

• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, grooming, and service standards.

• Monitor staff discipline and attendance.

• Train new team members on service standards and SOPs.

• Ensure proper billing and POS coordination.

• Report operational issues and updates to management.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and company SOPs.

Key Requirements

• Good communication and guest-handling abilities.

• Sound knowledge of restaurant/F&B service operations.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and service teams.

• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification

Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in F&B service operations.
