Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Steward to support restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting service staff, handling table setup, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and clear restaurant tables before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Assist waiters and captains during food and beverage service.
Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and properly arranged.
Carry food and beverage orders from the kitchen to service areas when required.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
Assist in banquet and event setups.
Maintain stock of service items and report shortages.
Follow hotel SOPs and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
Knowledge of restaurant and hotel service operations.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Teamwork and customer service orientation.
Physical fitness to stand and work for long hours.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification: 10th/12th Pass or Hotel Management Diploma preferred.
1–5 years of experience as a Steward in a hotel, restaurant, café, or banquet.
Basic English communication preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in fine dining, casual dining, luxury hotels, or banquet operations.
Knowledge of POS systems and service standards.
