Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure excellent guest service. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, good communication, and the ability to manage service staff efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily floor operations.
Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
Lead and guide stewards/waiters during service hours.
Take guest orders and handle special requests professionally.
Maintain proper table setup and restaurant cleanliness.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth food service.
Train and motivate junior staff members.
Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in achieving restaurant sales and service targets.
Requirements
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Captain in a restaurant/hospitality industry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team-handling abilities.
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
