Job Title: Restaurant Captain

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to oversee front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional guest experience, and supervise service staff. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between management and service teams while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations

• Lead and guide stewards/waiters to deliver excellent customer service

• Welcome and interact with guests, ensuring a positive dining experience

• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally

• Monitor table setups, service flow, and cleanliness of the dining area

• Ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs

• Take and manage reservations, including VIP guests

• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service

• Upsell menu items and promote special offers

• Prepare shift reports and update management on daily operations
