Job Description: Senior Pantry Boy
Role Summary:
The Senior Pantry Boy manages pantry duties with greater responsibility, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting kitchen and service teams to deliver excellent food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily pantry operations and junior pantry staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry and storage areas.
Prepare and replenish pantry supplies, including beverages and garnishes.
Assist chefs and waitstaff by providing necessary items promptly.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damages.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Support the setup and clearing of service areas during meal times.
Train and guide junior pantry boys on tasks and standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a pantry boy or similar role, preferably in a senior capacity.
Understanding of kitchen and service operations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
Good communication and team leadership abilities.
Physical stamina for standing and moving supplies.
Work Environment:
Typically works in hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
May require standing for long periods and lifting pantry supplies.
