Job Summary
We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to support daily food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. The candidate will ensure ingredients are prepared on time, follow hygiene standards, and assist the kitchen team for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by cutting, grating, and grinding as per SOPs.
Complete the daily pre-preparation checklist and ensure ingredients are ready before service.
Assist the kitchen team during busy hours.
Refill chutney, sambar, and other food items as required.
Keep production tools and utensils clean and ready for use.
Clean prep tables, chillers, racks, and containers regularly.
Label and store ingredients properly using FIFO/FEFO practices.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards to avoid cross-contamination.
Ensure all ingredients are properly covered and stored.
Qualifications & Skills
10th/12th Pass (Hotel Management is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food hygiene.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
