Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
Greet customers politely when they enter the café.
Take customer orders accurately.
Provide quick and friendly service at all times.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers.
2. Billing & Order Management
Enter orders correctly in the billing system.
Always ask for customer name and phone number at the time of billing.
Ensure bills are processed accurately and receipts are provided.
3. Food & Beverage Preparation
Assist in preparing coffee, beverages, and food items as per café standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
4. Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of the café, kitchen, and service area.
Clean tables, counters, and equipment regularly.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
5. Stock Handling
Assist in checking daily stock of ingredients and supplies.
Inform the Shift Manager if any item is running low.
6. Teamwork
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Follow instructions from the Shift Manager or Café Manager.
Workplace Discipline
Staff must remain attentive at the counter during duty hours.
Eating, using mobile phones, or unnecessary talking at the counter is not permitted.
Staff must maintain professional behaviour and follow café rules at all times.
Skills Required
Basic communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of customer service.
Working Hours
As per café shift schedule (approximately 10-hour shift).
