Job Title: Barista/Catering Barista

Job Description:

Role Overview: As a Barista, you will be responsible for making and serving the different types of coffees, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. You should have a good understanding of types of coffees and be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.

Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently.

Coffee Knowledge:

Demonstrate a good understanding of coffees and beverages.

Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Table Management:

Set up tables before service and clear them after guests leave.

Ensure tables are clean, properly arranged, and have all necessary utensils and condiments.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas.

Customer Interaction:

Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a polite and professional manner.

Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff and other waiters to ensure smooth service.

Assist in training new waitstaff on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.

Health and Safety:

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices are maintained.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 6 months of experience as Barista, preferably with knowledge of coffees.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
