The Social Media Designer & Video Content Creator will be responsible for creating visual and video content across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.

This includes designing creatives, shooting videos in the office, and editing content that educates aspiring VFX artists and strengthens our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Content Shooting

• Shoot video content in the office including:

Interviews

Podcast clips

Student interactions

Educational videos

Short-form social media content

• Assist in planning simple video setups for reels and YouTube content.

Video Editing

Edit engaging content for multiple platforms including:

• Instagram Reels

• YouTube videos

• Podcast snippets

• Educational videos

Videos should be fast-paced, visually engaging and optimized for social media.

Social Media Design

Design content for social media including:

• Informational carousels

• Static creatives

• Story graphics

• Announcement posts

Visual Storytelling

Help convert topics like:

VFX techniques

Industry insights

Career advice

Student journeys into simple, engaging and visually appealing content.

Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing team to:

• Plan content shoots

• Maintain visual consistency

• Improve content quality and performance

Skills Required

• Graphic design skills

• Video shooting and framing basics

• Video editing skills

• Understanding of Instagram and YouTube formats

• Ability to create engaging informational content

Tools

Preferred experience with:

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• After Effects (preferred)

• Basic camera handling / smartphone shooting

Experience

1–3 years of experience in social media design, video editing or content creation.

Freshers with strong portfolios are welcome.

Monthly Deliverables (Approx.)

• 6 - 8 carousels

• 8–10 reels

• 2–4 YouTube videos (Long Form) + Podcast snippets which will be used on IG & YT

• Story creatives as required

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is:

• Creative and proactive

• Comfortable shooting and editing videos

• Interested in the film/VFX/creative industry

• Up to date with social media trends
