Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The candidate must have strong expertise in editing YouTube videos and creating engaging, high-retention content tailored for YouTube audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality YouTube videos (long-form & short-form).

• Create engaging YouTube content with proper pacing, storytelling, and audience retention techniques.

• Add effects, transitions, background music, subtitles, and motion graphics.

• Edit YouTube Shorts, reels, and promotional videos.

• Design YouTube thumbnails and basic creatives using Photoshop and Canva.

• Optimize videos for YouTube (basic understanding of titles, cuts, hooks, and viewer engagement).

• Work closely with the marketing/content team to execute video concepts.

• Ensure timely delivery of all video content.

• Maintain proper file organization and backups.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Good knowledge of After Effects (for motion graphics and effects)

• Basic to intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop

• Good working knowledge of Canva

• Strong understanding of YouTube editing style, trends, and audience retention

• Ability to create engaging hooks, fast-paced edits, and storytelling videos

• Knowledge of YouTube formats (long videos, shorts, thumbnails)

• Creative thinking and strong attention to detail

Additional Advantage (Preferred):

• Experience editing for YouTube channels

• Understanding of YouTube algorithm basics

• Experience in creating viral or high-engagement content
