A video editor is a versatile creative professional responsible for both static and dynamic visual storytelling. This role combines the technical skills of post-production with the artistic principles of design to create cohesive brand content across digital and print platforms.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented video editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between static design and motion, producing everything from high-impact social media posts to professional marketing collateral. You will be responsible for the entire creative lifecycle—from conceptual storyboarding to final video export and print-ready layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Production & Editing: Transform raw footage into polished videos by cutting scenes, adding transitions, and ensuring logical sequencing.

• Graphic Design: Create visually compelling assets for websites, social media, advertisements, and print materials (brochures, flyers, and posters).

• Motion Graphics: Design and animate titles, lower thirds, and overlays to enhance video engagement.

• Post-Production: Handle color correction, audio mixing, and the integration of music and sound effects.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content strictly adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent style, tone, and quality across all channels.

• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and content teams to brainstorm creative concepts and translate briefs into visual executions.

• Asset Management: Organize and archive project files and media libraries to ensure efficient workflows and easy retrieval.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, film production, multimedia arts, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience (typically 1–3 years) in both graphic design and video editing roles, supported by a strong portfolio.

• Software Proficiency:

  o Video: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro

  o Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and social media platform requirements.

• Soft Skills: Excellent storytelling ability, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
