• End-to-End Editing: Edit 3–5 high-quality Instagram Reels / Shorts per week, ranging from recipe tutorials, aesthetic food styling, educational hooks, and high-converting product ads.

• Sound Design & Pacing: Use sound effects (SFX), music timing, and ASMR elements (crunch, packaging rustle, pouring) to create sensory-rich food videos.

• Color Grading & Visual Polish: Perform color correction and grading to make food textures and packaging look vibrant, fresh, and premium.

• Retention Optimization: Craft strong visual hooks (first 3 seconds), dynamic jump-cuts, speed ramps, smooth zooms, and aesthetic typography/captions.

• Collaboration & Shoot Assistance: Work closely with the Social Media Marketer to plan video shot lists, test new content formats, and assist with basic camera/lighting setups during in-house shoots.

• Asset Management: Organize raw footage, B-roll libraries, music tracks, and graphic templates for rapid turnaround.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Desktop. Familiarity with After Effects or Photoshop for quick motion graphics/thumbnails is a plus.

• Portfolio/Showreel (Mandatory): A strong portfolio showing short-form video work—specifically food, D2C FMCG, wellness, or lifestyle products.

• Visual & Audio Sensibility: Strong understanding of vertical video dynamics (9:16), frame composition, typography, and audio leveling.

• Speed & Consistency: Ability to deliver polished rough cuts within 24–48 hours of shooting.

• Camera Basics: Experience with phone videography (iPhone Pro / 4K setups), basic softbox lighting, and macro framing is preferred.
