VIDEO EDITOR & VIDEOGRAPHER

Full-time | Bengaluru
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month
Based on experience, portfolio and skill level

About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor & Videographer to join our creative team and take ownership of video editing and production across multiple brand and marketing projects.

The role is editing-focused, with regular involvement in shoots. We are looking for someone who can produce polished, engaging content and also confidently handle camera work when required.

Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms

• Edit brand videos, product videos, advertisements, BTS content, interviews and campaign content

• Create strong pacing, transitions, sound design and visual storytelling

• Work with music, voiceovers, dialogue and sound effects

• Perform basic colour correction and grading

• Adapt editing styles according to different brands and creative directions

• Deliver content in multiple formats and aspect ratios when required

Videography

• Participate in and independently handle client shoots

• Operate cameras and understand lenses, exposure, framing and composition

• Plan and execute shots according to creative briefs

• Work with basic lighting and audio equipment

• Shoot product, fashion, lifestyle, food, interviews and social-media content

• Understand camera movement and visual storytelling

• Capture footage with the final edit and story in mind

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the creative team to execute concepts and campaigns

• Translate creative briefs into strong visual content

• Contribute ideas for shots, sequences and content formats

• Maintain a consistent standard of video quality across projects

• Help improve the overall shooting and editing workflow

• Collaborate with other members of the video team and share technical knowledge where relevant

Requirements

Must have:

• Strong video editing skills

• Strong understanding of short-form/social-media content

• Good sense of pacing, composition and storytelling

• Practical experience operating a camera

• Understanding of lighting and basic audio

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• A strong portfolio/showreel

Good to have:

• Experience working with brands or creative agencies

• Fashion, lifestyle, F&B or product-shoot experience

• Commercial advertising experience

• Colour grading experience

• Motion graphics / After Effects

• Experience with different camera systems and lenses

• Own camera or production equipment

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands both the technical and creative side of video.

You should be able to take raw footage and turn it into a polished final piece, while also being comfortable behind the camera when required.

We're looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, hands-on and constantly looking to improve their craft.

Experience

2–4 years preferred, although candidates with a strong portfolio and relevant experience will also be considered.
