Video Editor / Visual Storyteller

About the Role

GCIC Finserve is looking for a Video editor/ Visual storyteller to create engaging finance and economics content for YouTube, Instagram & LinkedIn, inspired by modern storytelling/explainer channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, Reels, Shorts & LinkedIn videos.

• Convert complex finance/economics topics into simple, engaging visual stories.

• Create motion graphics, animations, charts, data visualization, kinetic typography & transitions.

• Handle sound design, music, subtitles, color correction, and final output.

• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.

• Work with the scripts/content team to develop strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling.

• Maintain consistent brand style and visual identity.

Required Skills

• Strong storytelling, editing & audience-retention skills.

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.

• Good understanding of Photoshop, Audition & Media Encoder.

• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve / Illustrator / Canva / AI video tools is a plus.

• Finance, economics or business-content experience is an added advantage.

Portfolio

Portfolio/Showreel is mandatory, preferably showcasing YouTube, Reels/Shorts, motion graphics and explainer/storytelling videos.
