Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have experience editing engaging videos for social media, paid advertising campaigns, YouTube, websites, and branding projects. The candidate should be able to transform raw footage into compelling visual content that drives audience engagement and supports marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

• Create short-form videos such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional advertisements.

• Edit long-form videos for YouTube, webinars, podcasts, and corporate presentations.

• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.

• Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and final video optimization.

• Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and digital marketing teams to produce engaging marketing campaigns.

• Maintain brand consistency across all video content.

• Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.

• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media formats, and creative storytelling techniques.

• Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Media Encoder.

• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage.

• Experience in editing social media content, advertisements, and promotional videos.

• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings.

• Good knowledge of sound editing, color grading, and motion graphics.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong creativity, storytelling, and attention to detail.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Animation, Film Editing, or a related field.

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing for a digital marketing agency, advertising agency, or media company.

• Experience editing performance marketing creatives is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of AI-based video editing tools and content creation tools is an added advantage.
