Job Title: AI Video Editor / AI-Driven Video Content Creator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative AI Video Editor to join our media team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between traditional post-production and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, using AI tools to significantly accelerate content production while maintaining high-quality storytelling. You will be responsible for editing high-retention, short-form, and long-form content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

AI Video Generation & Editing: Leverage AI tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, Pictory) to generate, edit, and enhance video, audio, and visual assets.

Workflow Automation: Develop and implement systems for automating repetitive video editing tasks, such as transcription, rough cuts, filler-word removal, and subtitling, to reduce turnaround times.

Content Repurposing: Convert long-form content (podcasts, webinars) into high-engagement short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) using AI-powered tools.

Storytelling & Pacing: Edit raw footage and AI-generated scenes to create compelling visual narratives with strong retention hooks.

Platform Optimization: Optimize video content for specific social media platforms, ensuring proper framing, aspect ratios, and engaging captions.

Collaboration & Innovation: Collaborate with creative directors, marketing teams, and content writers to align with brand guidelines. Actively explore and implement emerging AI tools and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 1–5 years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing AI-assisted content creation.

AI Tools: Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (RunwayML, Pika Labs, HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Descript, or similar).

Traditional NLE Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or DaVinci Resolve.

Social-First Mindset: Deep understanding of current social media trends, engagement metrics, and high-retention editing styles.

Sound & Color: Basic to intermediate skills in sound design, audio cleanup, and color correction.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with motion graphics (MOGRTs) in After Effects.

Knowledge of AI voice synthesis and lip-syncing tools.

Familiarity with video SEO and performance analytics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Turnaround time per project.

Audience retention rates and engagement (views, likes, shares).

Volume of high-quality content output.
